Born in Lausanne, I completed my watchmaking apprenticeship in the Vallée de Joux, and then continued my training by specializing in complications and the restoration of antique watches in Le Locle.
In 2003, I joined the Breguet Manufacture, first in the minute repeater department, then for ten years in the Grandes Complications/Restoration department. Here, the richness of timepieces I have produced or restored, as well as the contact with highly qualified colleagues, have provided me with invaluable experience.
Aware of the importance of preserving the heritage of watchmaking expertise and passing it on to future generations, I shared my knowledge by teaching watchmaking at the École Technique de la Vallée de Joux for five years. My practical teaching focused mainly on the regulation, small complications and finishing of School Watches, while the theoretical courses I taught included regulation theory, complications, clock mechanism and technical drawing.
After nearly twenty years of professional activity, I settled in Tokyo in 2022 and now devote most of my time to watch creation. In addition to this, I still occasionally teach at the local watchmaking school.
